CBRE strengthens its presence in Tours with the opening of the CBRE Tertio franchise office
May 5, 2025
CBRE is strengthening its presence in the Tours region with the opening of the CBRE Tertio office in Tours with Georges Baril as President and Jonathan Ligot as Chief Executive Officer. This new strategic direction marks a major turning point for CBRE in Tours. With this impetus, the company aims to strengthen its presence on the Touraine real estate market while promoting its values of excellence, innovation and proximity.
A resilient and promising market Despite a year marked by many challenges for the entire real estate sector, the metropolis of Tours remains a dynamic territory with many projects underway. The local market is distinguished by its resilience, in particular thanks to endogenous placed demand. In 2024, demand for office space reached 30,000 m², remaining at the ten-year average despite a drop in the number of transactions. The retail market in Tours also has a rental vacancy rate of around 5%, lower than the average of comparable intermediary cities.
"We are particularly excited to see CBRE play a key role in the economic development of the Tours metropolitan area. The teams are ready to meet the challenges imposed by the market and identify the best opportunities for our clients, while remaining faithful to the values of proximity and expertise that characterize us," says Stanislas Leborgne, Director of A&T Regions CBRE France.
A Touraine team at the service of the local market Georges Baril and Jonathan Ligot, both from Touraine and recognized real estate experts, bring their in-depth knowledge of the territory and their expertise in real estate to CBRE. Under their leadership, CBRE is strengthening its expertise in offices, commercial premises and corporate premises, in line with the desire to offer a complete offer, adapted to local dynamics, thus strengthening CBRE's territorial anchoring in the metropolis of Tours.
"The operation of the CBRE brand in Tours is a unique opportunity to highlight the expertise of our team and to strengthen our presence in the Touraine market. We are convinced that our in-depth knowledge of the territory and our local commitment will allow us to best support our clients in their real estate projects," says Georges Baril, President of CBRE Tertio. CBRE's office in Tours closely follows trends in the local real estate market, with a particular focus on locally promising sectors such as renewable energy, life sciences, low-carbon transport and responsible tourism. The team aims to extend its expertise to all of the real estate segments offered by Tours, demonstrating its ability to meet the varied needs of its clientele.
