Retail bashing does not constitute a risk management strategy

We just learned that more than 200 shopping centres are on the verge of bankruptcy in the United Kingdom. There is no doubt that the troubles of British retailers (BHS, Tesco, Sainsbury, House of Fraser etc.) and the drop in consumption linked to the depreciation of the pound largely explain the deterioration of the UK commercial real estate market.
