Nancy

Thriving capital of the Lorraine region

Nancy saw a sharp increase in office take-up in 2006 (up 33% from 2005) with 46,500 sq. m changing hands. The new East TGV high-speed train service (putting Paris just an hour and a half away) has stimulated investment and triggered the start of construction of high-grade buildings in the city centre (railway station and Rives de Meurthe districts) and the outskirts (Nancy-Brabois technology park and Saint Jacques sites). The sectors of digital economics and information technologies, banking-finance-insurance, health-life sciences, and call centres are thriving.
